Tuxford Medical Centre is delighted to be supporting Retford Athletics Club to run this years Retford Half Marathon.
The race is on Sunday 5th March 2023, and starts from Retford Oaks Academy. Alongside the main 13.1 mile race there is also a Family Fun Run of approximately 2 kilometres – so there’s something for everyone – even if you’re not at ‘peak marathon performance’.
The overall health benefits of exercise and running are numerous, including weight loss and lowering blood pressure. Various studies have also shown that running can reduce your risks from some types of cancer, strengthen your joints, and improve your mental health!
If you’re interested in entering – you can do so here
We wish all the participants the best of luck.
