The Child Death Helpline is staffed by volunteers, all of them bereaved parents. They aim to provide a quality freephone service to anyone affected by the death of a child of any age. The Newark Ramblers group was formed in 1971 and organises a walk almost every Sunday and Wednesday, chiefly in the local area. The walks vary in length from 4-10 miles, with the shorter walks being done at a leisurely pace which is ideal for new walkers.
