All patients registered at Tuxford Medical Centre now have a named accountable GP.

The named accountable GP will take lead responsibility for the co-ordination of all services required under the contract to ensure, based on clinical judgement, that they are delivered to patients where required.

A member of the practice team will be able to confirm the name of your accountable GP.

The GPs at this surgery work closely together; this change does not prevent you from seeing any doctor at the practice. Please be aware that due to holidays and other commitments, your named GP may not always be available.

If you request an emergency appointment, this will be with any of the doctors who have available appointments.

If a patient expresses a preference as to which GP they are assigned to, the practice will make reasonable efforts to accommodate their request.
