Face Coverings

Please help us to protect our staff and other patients by wearing a face covering when you attend the practice.

Recent government guidance is that members of the public wear a face covering in some social settings.

To ensure the protection of both staff and patients we will be asking that patients who attend the practice wear either:

  • A face mask
  • A home-made face covering

There is guidance on the government website about how to wear and make a cloth face covering here: www.gov.uk/how-to-wear-and-make-a-cloth-face-covering

Evidence suggests that wearing a face covering does not protect you. However, if you are infected but have not yet developed symptoms, it may provide some protection for others you come into close contact with.

The government has also issued guidance on staying safe outside of your home here:

REMEMBER: Please help us to protect our staff and other patients by wearing a face covering when you attend the practice.
